Sterling on the Lake Lakes and Trails

If you are a new resident at Sterling on the Lake, the SOTL Lakes and Trails Committee welcomes you! We have an excellent private trail system that is well maintained and easily accessible for all residents.

The purpose of the Lake and Trails Committee is to advise the Board of requirements for the upkeep, maintenance, repair and the use of the lakes, dams, the Association owned dock, and the island, including recommendation to the Board of such rules and regulations it may deem appropriate regarding any or all of these facilities and areas.

Vision Statement

"Our shared vision is the protection and management of the community lakes and trails, wildlife, habitats, and other natural resources, for the benefit of current and future residents. Any maintenance or enhancements to the lakes and tails made by the committee will ensure they remain in a natural, undisturbed state, as stated in the SOTL Community Charter."

Main Lake Fishing

One of our community's most valuable assets is our lakes.  The lakes provide a beautiful background for the community and serve to provide us with a source of recreation with kayaking and fishing.  We monitor the health of the lake water, and the fish and wildlife that live on or in the lakes.  Once a year the fish population is analyzed to determine the existing fisheries abundance within the main lake.
